The Importance of Education.

Over the past few years, many issues that occur across the globe have been brought to light, such as poverty, climate change, and economic inflation. Though discussed less frequently on the news, the lack of education in numerous countries around the world is an issue of equal importance. Approximately 258 million children and youth in less fortunate places are denied education, an unacceptable amount. 


Education is extremely important to the lives of countless people, regardless of location, but unfortunately, not everyone is lucky enough to have access to it. The number of issues that could be solved if we only placed more emphasis on ensuring that everyone had the right to education is staggering. It is our responsibility to open our eyes to the problems that exist in other places and work to help those who are inhibited by their lack of access to education.


Studies from various organizations have revealed that a lack of education and child labor are strongly related. When children do not have access to quality education, they often enter the workforce, especially in households that lack money. In addition to this, the labor these children are forced to endure is often dangerous, resulting in devastating injuries and even death.


We cannot stand by while millions of children across the world suffer, unable to afford the education they need to escape the cycle of poverty and child labor; it is our responsibility to give these people the help they need. Here’s how you can help out:
